Striding into the New Year

So the festive lights are rapidly dimming into memory, and all that is left seems to be the crisp, sheer cold of an endless January. The bleak midwinter indeed.

It’s always hard to leap into a new year with the same energy and vigour that saw you to the end of the old one; there just isn’t as much drive lingering into the dark starts and dark finishes of the nine to five.

However… the Indie Dev perseveres! Or at least tries to.

Ryan and I here at Boxblue Studios are still working away, polishing, refining and finalising The Adventures of R.Sole for its upcoming release. In fact, our eyes are so square Huey Lewis thinks they are really quite hip. (That’s a joke for all you out there that came through from the 80s…)

Not only that, we are putting the finishing touches to the demo for The Adventures of R.Sole, which will be included in the upcoming NextFest on Steam in February. We’re really quite excited to share more of our game before launch, and we’d love to hear your feedback regarding our reluctant hero and his really, really bad day that starts everything off.

More information will be coming over the next few weeks!
