Is this thing on?

Hey there!

It's been a funny few weeks here at Boxblue Studios. We're hard at work getting everything ready for the final push to get 'The Adventures of R.Sole: Nothing, Nowhere and Not at the Same Time' released when calamity struck!

Our website got deleted.

We have no idea why. It could have been internet gremlins. It could have been rogue self-aware AI in the code. It could have been Ryan's sausage fingers pressing the wrong button.

It was Ryan.

However like a slightly battered and mildly drunk Phoenix our new website has risen from the ashes!

This new site has several new features. Firstly... you're reading one of them. This Dev Diary is a place where Ryan and I can share what we are working on, update you on release dates and generally chew the fat of this whole game-dev lark.

Secondly if you are desperate to be updated on our news (and let's face it why wouldn't you be?) you can subscribe to our page for updates, sneak peeks and all of that jazz via our email subscription option. (Conveniently at the bottom of every page). Don't worry! Your data is safe, we have literally zero impulse to sell your email address to sweatshops manufacturing prosthetic genitals or any other kind of dodgy business. To be honest, we wouldn't even know how to... but that's beside the point.

Christmas is just around the corner and so is our demo for TAoRS (not a catchy acronym... we should have thought harder about that...). We're hoping to have the demo live within the next few weeks. However those are 'developer weeks'... it could mean 2027... no, not really. It's almost ready to roll. So keep your digital eyes peeled and check back with us for more news and updates.

Hopefully this site will last longer than the last one. I just need to keep Ryan away from the keyboard after he has drunk all the rum...
